Spot's Apartment SketchThe idea of Spot’s apartment was heavily, heavily influenced by my Dad. My Dad’s a self taught engineer who’s office and garage reflects the chaos that goes on in his head. He mashes bolts and parts together, jerry rigs electronics and machines, scribbles his fleeting ideas on whatever surface he can find. I wanted Spot’s apartment to be a visual representation of the multidimensional mess that he was about to cause. Here though, you can’t tell that he’s a villainous character, but just someone who’s feverishly passionate about his work and maybe a little lost.
